Depleted

“Always do what you are afraid to do”

In it, you struggle & fight

With the burden made no light.

In it, you move, all might to height

With the result in no sight.

But if the feet couples with the ground,

The eye with the target, both keeping their vows,

A conqueror shall emerge, Fear depleted;

A beaten opponent retreating across through the wooden bridge

Your courage built it.

In the east, a glimmer of contentment

Finally rising.
